YOUR DAY TO DAY AS A WATER RESOURCES CIVIL ENGINEER
As a Water Resources Civil Engineer at Gilmore and Associates, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve the design, analysis, and implementation of water resource projects. You will conduct feasibility studies, hydrological assessments, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll develop innovative solutions that address client needs and community challenges.
Your role will require adaptability, as you navigate dynamic project timelines and uphold the high standards of excellence that define our company culture. Essential FunctionsResponsibilities:
• Provide design services for water and wastewater facilities
• Assist with preparing Federal and State regulatory permit applications and plans
• Assist with preparing bid plans and specifications
• Compose letters, memoranda, reports, applications and studies
• Perform site investigations, construction observation and field reconnaissance
• Review private development plans for compliance with applicable authority water and sewer standards
• Assist Project Manager to establish new and maintain existing relationships with clients, subcontractors, etc.
Essential Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related area
Desired Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in civil engineering areas such as planning, investigations, reporting, water resource conveyance, storage and treatment design
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification or Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania
