Water Recycling Operator

YTL UK is seeking a Water Recycling Operator in Westbury, UK. The role involves operating and maintaining sewage treatment plants, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and working outdoors in various conditions. If so, we are looking for a Water Recycling Operator to work in our team, covering areas around Westbury.

What you'll do

Your role will involve:
• the operation and maintenance of conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards
• running advanced wastewater treatment and sludge process plants
• ensuring compliance with company policy, processes and procedures
• ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all colleagues, the public and yourself at all times
• working outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends.

What you'll need

You will need experience working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant.

Mechanical experience would be desirable. Confined spaces training will be provided as part of role, however you will need to be eligible to work in confined spaces.

You will also need:
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, maths, and a technical subject
• to be happy working outside in all conditions
• a valid driving licence, ideally with category BE
• to be flexible in your approach to work.
