Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have experience in stormwater management and environmental compliance. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Conducting inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with SWPPP and stormwater management regulations.
• Reviewing stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs) on owner-provided plans and recommending alternative BMPs based on site conditions and performance.
• Monitoring rainfall data for individual project locations and preparing cost estimates for site inspections.
• Being responsible for weekly and storm event inspections, reports, and activity logs.
• Coordinating and discussing action items from inspections with on-site contractors or oversight personnel.
• Attending site meetings or project calls as required and providing environmental oversight on construction projects.
• Traveling throughout Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
• Monitoring sites for potential non-compliance with federal, state, and local environmental permitting issues and reporting instances to the owner.
• Retailing all records and making them available to the owner for the required three-year retention period.
