Role Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as an Urban Development Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the design of key elements of large infrastructure projects, conducting assessments for stormwater management, and generating engineering designs. Your expertise will be utilized to analyze catchment areas, develop hydrological/hydraulic models, and review specifications, bid documents, and project-specific requirements.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality results that meet client expectations. Your leadership skills will be utilized to mentor junior engineers, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and ensure the delivery of client deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the design of key elements of large infrastructure projects
- Conduct assessments for stormwater management, drainage, and Low Impact Development (LID)
- Analyze catchment areas, develop hydrological/hydraulic models, and generate engineering designs
- Review and produce specifications, bid documents, and project-specific requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their growth and development

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering
- P Eng., licensed in Ontario (preferred)
- Technical background in hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management, and water quality
- Experience working with municipal authorities and gaining approval from these authorities (preferred)
- Proficient in hydraulic modeling software and 3D modeling using design software such as Autodesk, Bentley
