We are seeking an experienced professional to join our offshore team in the UAE. As an environmental consultant, you will support our on-site assurance services, including site inspections, internal audits, environmental monitoring, performance reporting, toolbox talks, and environmental awareness training for contractors.
Key Job Functions
• Oversee daily and weekly site inspections, concentrating on waste management, air quality, and dust observations.
• Attend daily toolbox talks and lead site-specific environmental awareness training for contractors.
• Carry out monthly internal environmental audits.
• Conduct environmental monitoring as per CEMP standards, including water quality, noise, marine mammal and reptile monitoring, and marine ecology monitoring.
• Compile environmental performance reports for the project company and environmental regulator.
• Collaborate with ecologists in field surveys, such as benthic habitat identification, MMRO, water quality sampling, sediment quality sampling, habitat health assessment, turtle nesting and hatching surveys, and drop-down video transects.
