As a Waste Management Operator, you will be responsible for transporting waste safely, classifying and segregating waste containers, and performing various regulatory tasks. You will also need to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of assigned company vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
">
• Pick up and transport waste safely according to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Label containers and complete pre-printed manifests & work orders while adhering to assigned route.
• Classify, segregate and inventory waste containers in storage for shipment.
• Perform various regulatory training, compliance and safety tasks including pre-trip inspections of vehicle and reporting losses, spills, accidents, leaking containers, waste diversion and safety violations to supervisor immediately.
• Provide services related to hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal from customer sites.
• Process and prepare Universal Hazardous Waste manifests, bills of lading and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDRs) for hazardous waste shipment according to state, EPA and DOT regulations.
• Operate a Hand Truck, Drum Dolly, Pallet Jack & Forklift.
• Maintain the basic functionality & cleanliness of assigned company vehicle & equipment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a High school diploma or GED, CDL Class B license, Hazmat endorsement required for transporting waste, and at least three years of related Industry experience. Ability to operate a CMV and possession of a valid driver's license free of moving violations and accidents is also preferred.
