About The Role

Based in BYD's Melbourne office, this role supports the Warranty team in Australia and works closely with the Aftersales team across the APAC region. On offer is a Warranty Specialist position and your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
• Assist our dealer network in preparing warranty claims and Prior Authorization Requests (PARs).
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to efficiently resolve warranty-related issues.
• Review warranty claims to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of pre-work authorization submissions with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with internal teams to continuously improve the submission process.
• Help refine warranty policies to match industry best practices.
• Monitor policy changes and recommend further improvements.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as directed by your manager to support team objectives.
• Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to various projects as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively contribute to the achievement of team goals.

Key Requirements
• Previous experience in insurance, claims, warranties, or after-sales support is preferred.
• A solid understanding of vehicle components and repair procedures is highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential; experience with systems and BI tools is an advantage.
• Ability to maintain a positive and flexible attitude when adapting to new challenges and changing priorities.
• Must have full work rights in Australia.
