Warehouse Technician

PosiGen is seeking a Warehouse Technician in Bridgeport, CT. Responsibilities include supporting the sales team, managing job installations, loading/unloading trucks, performing maintenance on equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring quality control. Candidates should have a high school diploma, customer service experience, and preferably knowledge of solar power or construction. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs and working in various environments.
Essential Job Functions
• Support Sales Team division to facilitate proper operational flow
• Provide support in managing and tracking job installations
• Loading and unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling shipping and receiving.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on forklift, and truck
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Move waste from assembly line to dumpsters.
• Complete daily logs.
• Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in.
• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Stage finished product for loading.
• Load finished product onto truck

Education/Experience
• High School diploma
• Min 1-2 years’ experience in Customer Service role
• Demonstrated strong conflict resolution experience
• Knowledge of solar power energy field, preferred
• Construction industry knowledge preferred

• Willing to drive delivery trucks to and from work sites, CDL preferred not required
