Specialty Building Products | Big Lake, MN 55309U.S. Lumber, an SBP brand, is currently looking for Warehouse Associates to join our VALUES based organization who are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, transporting, and handling products that come into and move out of the warehouse. Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other Associates and productively with little supervision while following U.S. Lumber safety policies and procedures.Responsibilities and Essential FunctionsSafely operate forklift and other machineryBand, wrap, tape productMaintain work area and be organizedIdentify and read tickets, SKUs, UPC labels, and reportsGreat attention to detail and accuracyBe able to stand and work on your feet throughout the shift as a normal routineBe able to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, push, pull, move, and lift to 50lbsWork in an outside warehouse environmentFollow all safety proceduresWork in a team environmentOther duties may be assignedBe aware of temporary cracks in the floor due to forklifts and heavy equipment traveling through the Warehouse, causing uneven walking surfacesWarehouse environment can be dusty and noisyFluctuations of temperature are common (below freezing to 100+); some outdoor exposure during the workdayWet floors may occur during rainy or snowy weather or at other times depending on the environmentRequired CredentialsHigh School diploma or equivalentMust have basic math and analytical skillsMust be computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookSelf-starter, proactive, and able to take initiativeSpecialty Building Products is the leading distributor of specialty building products in North America.
