What will you be doing?
About Us We are a forward-thinking non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting neurodivergent artists and empowering neurodiverse individuals to thrive in the workplace. Our mission is to create inclusive opportunities, foster creativity, and break down barriers for neurodiverse talent. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Grant Researcher and Writer to join our team on a voluntary basis, with the intention to transition to a paid position as we secure funding through successful grant applications. Offer of paid employment would be given to the successful volunteer and external recruiting would only happen if the volunteer rejected the offer. Role Overview As a Grant Researcher and Writer, you will play a key role in identifying funding opportunities and crafting compelling grant proposals to support our initiatives. You will work closely with our team to understand our goals, programs, and impact, translating them into persuasive narratives that resonate with funders. This is a remote, flexible role ideal for someone with a strong background in grant writing, research, and a passion for supporting neurodiversity. Key Responsibilities - Research and identify potential grant opportunities from trusts, foundations, government schemes, and other funding bodies. - Write high-quality, tailored grant proposals and applications that align with funders’ priorities and our organisation’s mission. - Collaborate with the team to gather necessary information, data, and impact stories to support applications. - Manage the end-to-end grant application process, including deadlines, submissions, and follow-ups. - Maintain a database of funding opportunities, deadlines, and application outcomes. - Build and maintain relationships with funders, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. - Stay up-to-date with trends in grant funding and neurodiversity initiatives.
