About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Vice President of Climate Policy to spearhead a transformative policy agenda focused on climate and equity. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with the Executive Director and the Vice President for States to identify and prioritize initiatives addressing the climate crisis while promoting a more equitable society. Your role will involve not only developing and implementing visionary policies but also crafting the political landscape necessary for their success.

The ideal candidate will have:
• At least 10 years of experience in climate policy research, development, or advocacy.
• A deep understanding of state and federal climate policy and its implications for impactful climate action.
• Experience in clean power, sustainable transportation, and building decarbonization.
• A strong commitment to fighting the climate crisis and advancing an inclusive clean energy future.
• The ability to inspire and mentor a team while fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace environment.

You will also be responsible for overseeing policy analyses, providing strategic insights, and representing our organization across various platforms while managing diverse partnerships to advance intersectional policies.
