Job Description

TasNetworks is seeking a Vegetation Performance Manager to develop asset management strategies for vegetation programs, ensuring compliance and risk management. This state-wide role requires regular travel and involves managing a regulated Vegetation Program for transmission and distribution networks. Candidates should have qualifications in engineering or project management, along with experience in commercial development and vegetation management. The position offers a permanent contract with various benefits.
About The Role

As the Vegetation Performance Manager, you will provide specialist knowledge in development of asset management strategies and procedures to assist in the delivery of vegetation programs. You will play a pivotal role in the integration and implementation of vegetation management strategies, identifying risks whilst remaining compliant to ensure program and business goals are met.

The management, implementation and delivery of a state-wide regulated Vegetation Program for TasNetworks’ transmission and distribution networks is key to the success of this role.

About You

To be successful in this role you will hold tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, or have extensive experience in the commercial development, management, and delivery of a Program of Work. This, combined with your proven ability to leverage and negotiate commercial outcomes through contracts and procurement policies will set you up for success.

You will have the proven ability to compile, interpret, and present data in a digestible manner to senior internal stakeholders, ensuring a high level of verbal and written communication is upheld.

The successful candidate will also possess –
• Vegetation management experience (desirable)
• SME in identifying risks relating to vegetation management, asset management, standards and compliance

This is a state-wide role and regular travel is required.
