Job Description

KC Harvey Environmental, LLC is seeking Vegetation Management Technicians for seasonal positions in Rawlins, WY, from April to November 2025. Responsibilities include managing weeds, assisting with erosion control, and conducting vegetation surveys. Candidates should have a commitment to safety, a positive attitude, and a clean driving record. A Wyoming pesticide applicator license is preferred. Competitive pay and lodging are provided.

What We Are Looking For

We are currently seeking to hire multiple Vegetation Management Technicians to assist with vegetation management in our Wyoming operations based in Rawlins, WY. We offer competitive pay (starting $20/hour depending on experience) with overtime potential and provided lodging. Positions are full time and seasonal, from April through November 2025. Employment beyond these dates is possible depending on project needs.

Position Responsibilities
• Manage weeds using truck, ATV/UTV, or backpack mounted herbicide spray equipment.
• Safely and properly mix herbicides according to manufacturer labels.
• Assist with erosion control projects.
• Assist with other reclamation projects.
• Identify weeds and native plants (training will be provided).
• Navigate using digital maps.
• Map new and existing features using ArcGIS Collector on tablet computers.
• Be able to work professionally with others.
• Be able to work early and long hours.

Key Capabilities
• Assist with vegetation monitoring/surveys and other reclamation projects
• Identify plants using a key
• Manage weeds using a truck, ATV/UTV, or backpack mounted herbicide spray equipment.

Experience/Education Requirements
• A commitment to High Standards in Safety.
• A Wyoming certified pesticide applicator license (preferred) or willingness to obtain a license.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
• A clean driving record.
• Ability to travel regularly to project locations.
• Ability to participate in pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Be organized and detail oriented.

This is a seasonal hourly position. Compensation is dependent on experience and skills. Fully furnished lodging will be provided and the opportunity to work in the high desert of south-central Wyoming and other locations throughout Wyoming.
