Position Overview:
The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational aspects of the company, including farming processes, supply chain management, production, logistics, and workforce management. This executive role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in operations management, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to drive efficiency and productivity within a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership & Strategy:
Lead, inspire, and manage a cross-functional team, including directors and managers across various operational departments. Develop and execute strategic initiatives to improve operational performance and support business growth.
• Operational Excellence:
Drive continuous improvements in production, supply chain efficiency, resource management, and quality control. Develop and implement best practices to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Supply Chain & Logistics:
Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement of materials and equipment to product delivery. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain robust supply chain relationships and ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
• Budget & Financial Management:
Develop and manage operational budgets, forecast financial needs, and ensure that operations align with budgetary guidelines. Monitor expenses and financial performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Sustainability & Innovation:
Champion the implementation of sustainable farming practices, technological innovation, and data-driven solutions to improve yields, reduce waste, and ensure long-term environmental responsibility.
• Risk Management & Compliance:
Ensure all operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations related to agriculture, safety, and environmental practices. Implement risk management strategies to protect the company from potential operational disruptions.
• Collaboration with Senior Leadership:
Partner with other senior executives, including the CEO, CFO, and VP of Sales, to align operational strategies with broader company objectives. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a VP of Operations or in a senior leadership role in the agriculture, manufacturing, or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of operations, including production, supply chain management, logistics, and workforce management.
• Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, driving operational improvements and cost savings.
• Financial acumen and experience managing operational budgets and forecasting.
• A passion for sustainability and innovation within the industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
