Role Context:

Utility incentive programs and Demand Response (DR) programs are important strategic influencers helping generate compelling business cases for customers looking to implement an energy management solution. GridPoint fosters relationships with utilities nationwide to deliver their incentives for better managing and lowering energy consumption. This position plays a critical role in contributing to the success of incentive programs, working at the intersection of Sales, Customer Success, Product Development, and providing support to customers, third-party partners, and utilities.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Utility Solutions, the Utility Incentive Project Manager is responsible for supporting the execution, delivery, and performance of utility incentive programs and DR programs. Key responsibilities include conducting research on utility programs, maintaining datasets, enhancing program visibility, supporting internal processes improvement, customer onboarding, payment tracking, and collaborating with product teams to design new features.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution, delivery, and performance of utility incentive programs and DR programs
  • Conduct research activities into utility programs to stay up to date on requirements and changes
  • Maintain datasets containing up to date DR program and partner information
  • Expand capability to deliver added value through new programs and relationships
  • Improve program visibility and reporting for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Support the development of internal processes and tools to streamline program processes
  • Improve customer onboarding, payment tracking processes, and tools
  • Support customer enrollment, provisioning, nominations, and payment processing for DR programs
  • Work with product team to design new DR related features for software
  • Collaborate with key partners to enhance product integration and processes for new market entry
  • Other duties as assigned

Ideal Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in energy industry, renewable energy, utility energy efficiency programs, demand response programs, or project/program management
  • Ability to conduct repetitive, detail-oriented work with speed and accuracy
  • Strong technical communication skills
  • Proficient in Data Analysis and Excel
  • Experience in Airtable is a plus
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across different departments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
