Key Responsibilities

• Strong assertive leadership of interdepartmental project teams to complete assigned projects on time to specifications and with accuracy and efficiency
• Manage change control risk management processes
• Accept change, identify risks to formulate responses to setbacks with minimal disruptions
• Manage budget planning, tracking, and financial accountability for projects
• Negotiate and build positive relationships with key project stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening)
• Strong working knowledge of stage gate and agile methodology
• Deep understanding of Product Development Life Cycle Methodology Phases
• Experience with gathering understanding business requirements that define project scope for software, firmware, and hardware programs
• Expertise in project management scheduling tools (Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Planview)
• Strong understanding of development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, and increment release planning)
• Strong working knowledge of stage gate methodology

Accountabilities

• Strong ability to resolve conflicts successfully within the project team while retaining a collaborative working environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a global matrixed organization
• Ability to travel as needed to support project activities

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience
• Experience in utility, telecommunications, or similarly regulated industries is a plus
• PMP or similar
