• Role Overview*

We are seeking an Urban Resilience Specialist to join our team at the Boston Region MPO. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading the MPO's environmental program areas, developing long-term strategies, and preparing annual work plans.

You will oversee all aspects of the Resilience and Air Quality programs, ensure compliance with federal requirements, and collaborate with the Transportation Equity Program Manager to address health and environmental disparities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in urban or regional planning, transportation planning, public policy, environmental or climate studies, or public health with a focus on environmental health. They will possess strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and represent the MPO at various forums.
