We are seeking a highly skilled Urban Planning Specialist to join our Transportation Planning Work Group. In this role, you will provide project management and support to other Project Managers for services related to state and federal environmental assessments, transportation planning, land use analysis, policy research, and environmental compliance/permitting.

As a key member of our team, you will work independently with clients on planning and zoning studies, collaboratively on larger projects with multi-disciplinary teams, and provide leadership and mentorship to our growing team.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in urban and regional planning, urban studies, architecture, landscape architecture, or affiliated degrees.
• 10+ years of progressive experience.
• AICP certification or affiliate organization strongly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of planning methods and application at the local and regional level.
• Experience researching methods and statistical principles related to urban growth and development.
• Applied knowledge of methods and techniques of effective technical report preparation and presentations.
