The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Regional Planner to join our team. As a Regional Planner, you will serve as the primary liaison between SHA and local governments, communicating information about SHA's projects throughout the project lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Serving as a point of contact for local governments seeking funding and implementation assistance from SHA
• Communicating project information to stakeholders, including municipal, county, and regional jurisdictions
• Supervising one Assistant Regional Planner, providing on-the-job training, and assigning/reviewing work

You will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, including local governments, transportation agencies, and community groups. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
