Undergraduate Research Assistant

Mercom India is seeking a full-time Undergraduate Research Assistant in Bengaluru. The role involves data collection, analysis, and primary research within the clean energy sector. Candidates should be fluent in English, proficient in Excel, and possess strong writing skills. Responsibilities include generating research reports and monitoring industry news. A bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience are preferred. The position requires in-office work.

Should be fluent in English

• Will need to collect, input and analyze data in excel
Need to be proficient in excel chart-making
A key part of the job is to perform primary research by calling and talking to industry participants and government officers daily
• Researching the web for relevant information and secondary research
Generate weekly and quarterly research reports
Monitor current industry news and developments
Create custom research reports
Collect and input and maintain industry data

Bachelor's degree, BE, BBA, MBA, MA in Economics,
• 1 - 2 years of work experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong work ethic and passion for research subject
