Are you a final-year Urban Planning student looking to gain real-world experience while finishing your degree? AECOM’s Undergraduate Program offers UAE Nationals the chance to work alongside some of the best minds in the industry and contribute to projects that shape cities and communities.
What You’ll Do:
As an Undergraduate Urban Planner, you’ll support the team on real projects while learning key planning skills. Your tasks may include:
• Gaining experience with research and report writing in Urban Planning
• Supporting project managers with meeting notes, presentations, and planning documents
• Conducting site visits and helping assess development opportunities
• Learning local planning regulations and zoning codes
• Helping maintain internal planning resources and reference libraries
• Contributing ideas on urban planning trends and best practices
What We Offer

• Flexible Work Arrangements – 18 hours over 3 days, with a schedule that fits your classes. Hours can be reduced if needed based on your timetable.
• Summer Internship – If your university requires a full-time internship, we’ll provide full-time hours during the summer. Once your classes resume, your schedule will shift back to part-time while your salary remains unchanged.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning.
• Expected Graduation: 2026 (final-year students).
• GPA: Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) to be considered.
• Start Date: May 2025.
• Duration: 12 months from start date.
• Eligibility: As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labor law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
