US Project Manager, Market Entry and Client Integration

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our strategic expansion into new markets in the United States and handle the onboarding of new vendors and clients. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional project management skills to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure successful market entry, and a keen interest in the energy sector. They should have strong problem-solving skills, people & team management skills, and be able to work independently to push tasks to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Develop project plan and track progress to expand renewables & battery optimisation capabilities in new markets (ISOs), including
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules with clear milestones and deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional internal teams, facilitating effective communication and delegating tasks appropriately
• Maintain thorough documentation throughout all project phases
• Provide regular status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders
• Identify potential risks and develop proactive resolution strategies
• Manage client integration process, including
• Managing and improving existing onboarding process for clients in Texas and new markets
• Manage ongoing project plan across all clients, delegating as needed to internal stakeholders
• Identify contractual requirements ahead of signing and incorporate into onboarding requirements
• Handle communication with clients, in coordination with client account managers and relevant internal stakeholders
• Coordinate internal stakeholders to deliver on underlying requirements
• Identify and resolve or escalate any issues delivering the onboarding project plan
• Ensure compliant market access arrangements in new markets, directly with system operators or via third parties, and evaluate these arrangements on an ongoing basis for ERCOT and new markets
• Identify key internal capabilities needed for market expansion, including technical needs for Habitat's internal platform
• Provide input to strategic company positioning in new markets

Preferred skills and experience:
• 3-5 years of professional experience in project management
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in complex environments
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities across all levels
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities

'Nice to have' skills and experience:
• Experience with renewable energy assets or grid-scale energy projects
• Working knowledge of energy market regulatory frameworks, power systems, electrical grid & smart grid concepts
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
• Experience managing market entry or expansion projects
• Problem-solving mindset with entrepreneurial approach
