About the Role

ENGIE is recruiting for a Health and Safety Officer based in one of our UK offices. This is a full-time Permanent role, Monday to Friday. We offer a competitive salary, bonus, and benefits package. The role involves assisting the Head of SHEQ to ensure entities within the Flexible Generation and Retail division adhere to the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Flexible Generation and Retail UK business on Health and Safety performance and management
  • Support Project teams on Health and Safety performance and management
  • Assist in attaining and maintaining ISO accreditations
  • Contribute to Due Diligence studies for new acquisitions
  • Offer advice on Health and Safety requirements to Business Development and Project teams

Key Requirements

  • Experience in a Health and Safety role, ideally in the process or construction industry
  • Knowledge of UK CDM Regulations
  • Professional Health and Safety qualification is essential
  • Fire Risk Assessor qualification desirable
  • Good communication and written skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
