This internship within the maintenance department of Instrumentation, Automation, or Measurement and Control Techniques at the Doel nuclear power plant will provide you with valuable knowledge in specific I&C maintenance tasks and technical installation domains.

What does this internship involve?

• **Placement and problem statement:** The student will shadow the maintenance technicians in the Instrumentation Control department of the Maintenance department. Under guidance, the student can perform specific maintenance tasks, allowing them to apply the skills, knowledge, and attitudes acquired in their education in a practical and challenging work environment.
• The student will participate in the daily activities in various technical installation domains, gaining exposure to different techniques and installations closely related to their specialization and areas of interest.

Objectives

During this internship, the main goal is to familiarize oneself with the nuclear power plant, its extensive and complex installations, specialized personnel, while gaining practical experience and skills in the relevant maintenance area.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a professional bachelor’s program or secondary education in automation, process automation, measurement and control techniques, or electromechanics.
• Will be working at the Doel nuclear power plant.
• Proficient in Dutch. Knowledge of French and English is a plus.
