Job Summary: Wright Canada Holdings, operating as the Spectrum Resource Group is seeking Tree Planters for a challenging 50+ day season beginning mid-April through to mid-August. This role involves planting 14 million seedlings in remote areas of northern British Columbia, with a pay structure that correlates directly to individual performance.

The company has a long history of reforesting clearcuts and reclaiming disturbed sites in northern British Columbia and Alberta. Over the last 37 years, they have employed thousands of tree planters to restore hundreds of thousands of hectares of land.

Compensation Structure:

Our quoted price per tree ranges from $0.155 to $0.348, with statutory holiday pay and vacation pay added on top. The gross pay per tree varies based on the contract, ranging from $0.168 to $0.368.

Job Responsibilities:
• Planting seedling trees
• Seedling handling and care
• Planting location selection
• Tree quality and spacing inspection
• Accurately record and document the number of trees planted
• Load boxes, move equipment and assist in set up or take down of camp infrastructure
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings
• Support safety and employee ownership
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Assist during emergencies or natural disasters
