About the position

The Tree Planter and Delivery Driver position at Hoerr Nursery involves delivering and planting trees, shrubs, and other plants/products at customer locations. This physically demanding role requires lifting heavy items and providing excellent customer service while acting as a liaison between customers and the sales team. During slower planting seasons, additional tasks may be assigned to ensure continued employment and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
• Deliver and plant trees, shrubs, and other plants/products at customer locations.

• Act as a liaison between customers and the sales team to enhance customer satisfaction.

• Perform physical labor, including lifting 50-80 lbs, for extended periods.

• Provide quality customer service and deliver the Hoerr Experience (E3 - Easy, Enjoyable, and Excellent).

• Operate vehicular machinery such as a skid steer and drive a Class B truck and trailer when necessary.

Requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods and multiple days per week.

• Experience in a service-related industry is beneficial.

• Ability to provide quality customer service.

• Proficiency in driving a skid steer and obtaining a Class B driver's license if not already held.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.

• Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints and maintain confidentiality.

• Ability to lift 50-80 pounds.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience in tree care or horticulture is preferred.
