Tree Planter – Horticulture Maintenance

Maxima is hiring a Tree Planter for Horticulture Maintenance in Beverley, SA, for a 6-month contract at $30.13 per hour. Responsibilities include preparing soil, planting and maintaining trees, and performing heavy lifting. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, a White Card, and be physically fit. Responsibilities:
• Follow plans and specifications provided by Council
• Prepare soil for planting
• Dig planting holes
• Plant trees with proper care and placement
• Water and maintain trees
• Perform heavy lifting as required

Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and own transport
• White Card (construction induction)
• Physically fit and capable of performing labor-intensive work in outdoor environments
• Previous experience with tree planting or horticulture is preferred, but not required
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of tree species and planting techniques
• Ability to operate and maintain planting tools and equipment
