The role involves designing multimodal transportation projects, collaborating with teams, and ensuring project delivery. Candidates should have a degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering and experience with MicroStation Connect and OpenRoads Designer. • *Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainable Mobility Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of sustainable transportation infrastructure.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing and developing various multimodal projects, including complete streets, complex bikeway design, trails, and quick-build intersections. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions to complex transportation problems.
Your duties will include:
• Designing and developing geometric layouts, grading, signing and striping, storm drainage, green infrastructure, traffic control plans, construction staging, details, and engineer's estimates for large- and small-scale bicycle and pedestrian improvement projects, complete streets, and multimodal projects.
• Participating in site visits to project sites to investigate existing conditions and observe construction activities.
• Leading project tasks and assisting in creating project documents to prepare a complete, bid-ready Plans, Specifications, and Estimate package.
• Collaborating with clients (both internal and external) on project coordination meetings.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering, transportation engineering, or a related field, with experience in active transportation and street design. Proficiency in MicroStation Connect and OpenRoads Designer is also required.

• Developing and implementing sustainable transportation solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Participating in training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
• *Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of engineering experience for Engineering Designer II or 4-6+ years of experience for Engineering Designer III.
• Experience in MicroStation Connect and OpenRoads Designer.
• Strong understanding and/or experience in preparation of exhibits, concept drawings, and Plans, Specifications, and Estimates packages for transportation projects.
• Ability to collaborate with staff members across the company and manage internal teams.
