Transportation Engineer II
At Baxter & Woodman, both seasoned professionals and recent graduates find more than a job; Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a transportation engineer in our Milwaukee, Janesville, or Waterford, WI offices. This position will primarily consist of design engineering efforts on a variety of transportation projects for State, County, and Local Agencies. A knowledge of designing roadway, drainage, and underground improvements with Civil 3D is preferred. Design Roadway, Drainage, Underground Utility, and Infrastructure improvements using Civil 3D.
Conduct drainage, traffic, and various engineering studies.
Complete general civil engineering services for municipal, county and state clients.
Complete engineering plans and specifications using DOT Standards.
Assist senior staff with client management, project pursuits, and business development.
Assist project engineers and managers by making significant decisions on a wide variety of tasks required during project delivery.
S. degree in Civil Engineering
At least 2 years of relevant job experience working on municipal or highway agency transportation projects.
Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman’s service area (own transportation).
Strong written, verbal, computer and organizational skills.
T (Engineer in Training) certification strongly preferred, but not required.
