By joining our Equipment Unit as a Transportation Auto Truck Technician Assistant in Warren County, you’ll have the opportunity to performs major repairs and maintains gasoline and diesel-powered equipment such as dozers, graders, backhoes, loaders, pavers, etc.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Diagnosis, repairs and maintains gas and diesel powered equipment.
• Inspects and analyzes light or heavy equipment for completeness of repairs and servicing reports.
• Maintain equipment during snow and ice operations.
• Computer monitoring of equipment.
Holders of this job title will obtain:
• CDL License.
• Computer skills.
• Mechanic skills.
• ASE certifications.
Desired candidates possess the following requisite skills or experience applicable to the position:
• CDL.
• 5 years of auto/truck repair technical experience.
• Experience operating equipment.
• Understanding importance of safety and willingness to promote safe work environment.
Must possess a valid driver's license, some travel will be required for training, must be able to work, sit, stoop, and bend, must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, must be able to respond to emergencies.
