Trainee Wind Turbine Technician

WindWorkX is seeking GWO qualified Trainee Wind Turbine Technicians for seasonal self-employed contracts in North England, starting March 31, 2025. Applicants should have relevant engineering education or experience, a UK driving license, and medical certification. The role includes operating equipment, team management, and reporting. Pay is £18 per hour with additional allowances for food and travel. This is not a remote position.
Trainee Wind Turbine Technicians

We're looking for GWO qualified technician's who are looking for an entry into the wind Industry. We are offering seasonal self employed contracts for successful applicants.

What you need

GWO BST + BTT (Additional courses preferred)

Medical certificate / Fit to work (OGUK/OEUK preferred)

UK driving licence

Right to work in UK

Drone certificates: GVC / A1 A2 A3 (not essential)

Operating industrial equipment

Down tower setup

Up tower setup

Stock take file inventory

Manage teamwork and ensure timely and high-quality execution of work

Communicate with customer representatives and prepare progress reports
