Third Shift Box Truck Driver

PSP Transportation is seeking a Third Shift Box Truck Driver for a dedicated route in Valley Green, PA. Responsibilities include loading/unloading cargo, following routes for timely deliveries, and maintaining vehicle inspections and records. The role requires strong driving skills, effective communication, and excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with a pay rate starting at $21.50 per hour, working Monday to Friday from midnight to 9 am.
Third Shift Box Truck Driver--midnight to 9 am--dedicated route

Duties:
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks
- Plan and follow designated routes to ensure timely delivery of product
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during deliveries

Skills:
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift and move heavy cargo as required
- Route driving: Familiarity with local roads and efficient route planning
- Load/unload: Experience in safely loading and unloading cargo using appropriate equipment
- Courier: Knowledge of courier operations and delivery procedures
- Pallet jack: Proficiency in operating a pallet jack for loading/unloading purposes
- Drive: Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Communicate: Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and fellow drivers
- Customer service: Ability to provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
