This position aims to enhance the department's expertise in ocean and climate sciences through research, teaching, and mentoring. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic community by developing a vibrant research program and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.

Responsibilities
• Demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of both undergraduate and graduate students.

• Collaborate and connect with other scientists in EAS and other units.

• Build a vibrant, externally funded, and internationally recognized research program that addresses scientific questions of fundamental significance in ocean and climate science.

Requirements
• An earned doctorate in Atmospheric Science, Oceanic Science or a related field is required before start of employment.
