Responsibilities
• Coordinate and implement public access program offerings such as Open Fields & Waters.

• Conduct site assessments and habitat planning.

• Manage contract coordination and reporting.

• Assist biologists with the Focus on Pheasants initiative in Nebraska.

• Provide technical assistance on wildlife habitat enhancement techniques to private landowners.

• Collaborate with conservation agencies for project design and planning.

• Assist with or coordinate agency activities and projects as assigned.

Requirements
• 1 year experience or 1 year coursework/training in fisheries management, natural resources, biology, and/or agriculture.

• Driver's license required.

• Knowledge of local agricultural practices and basic wildlife habitat management principles.

Nice-to-haves
• Bachelor's degree in wildlife, fisheries, natural resources, or biology.

• Pesticide Applicators license.
