Job Description

The United States Air Force is hiring a Cyber Systems Operations Specialist in Georgia. Responsibilities include installing, supporting, and maintaining servers and computer systems to ensure operational security. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of cyber systems, and complete military training. Position Summary

In cyberspace, the battle never rests. As a Cyber Systems Operations specialist, you’ll make sure we’re ready to meet this head on, designing, installing and supporting our servers and computer systems to be operational, stable and secure 24/7. It’s up to you to ultimately improve our capabilities to stay ahead of the enemy and ensure no objective in this domain is out of reach.

Primary Responsibilities
• Install, support and maintain servers and computer systems.
• Respond to service outages and network-operation interruptions.
• Ensure current defense mechanisms are in place.
• Support and ensure the standards of information-warfare operations.

Qualifications
• Must have a high school diploma, GED with 15 college credits or GED
• Knowledge of cyber systems elements
• Completion of Cyber Systems Operations Initial Skills course
• Completion of a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
• Completion of 8.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 39
