Job Description
Air Liquide is seeking a Technology Owner for CO2 Capture & Liquefaction. This role involves coordinating technology developments, optimizing solutions, and supporting product roadmaps. Candidates should have an engineering degree or doctorate, with at least 3 years of experience in gas purification processes. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. The position is remote, allowing for contributions to global projects in sustainable energy.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW at Air Liquide?
The role of the Technology Owner is to act as a coordinator for developments related to technologies (rotating machines, heat exchangers, gas purification technologies…) within the CO2 Products Development Programs (Product Road Maps) but also in some extent in the proposals and FEEDs phases :
• Developing new solutions for proposals and developments
• Proposing optimizations to the solutions in order to maximize the products competitiveness during proposal and developments
• Coordinating the disciplines to solve technical issues related to new processes and/or new type of equipment
• Supporting the Product Owner in coordinating the Product Road Maps
On top of this general role, the Technology owner will more specifically:
• Identify challenges related to his technology scope
• List uncertainties, assess risks and prioritize studies for each challenges
• Propose, coordinate & develop solutions with support from experts
• Compare results and propose recommendations
• Build strong expertise in the fields of ab/ad-sorption and gas purification
• Support Product Proposal Managers, Industrialization managers during Proposals, FEEDs and project execution
• Get the validations from key stakeholders
• Capture information in reports/memos, presentations and minutes (capitalization)
• File patent applications
• Participate to meetings with suppliers
• Stay informed of the technology developments (R&D, Engineering, suppliers…) in order to integrate them as soon as possible on ongoing proposals and developments
Are you a MATCH?
• Engineering degree or a Doctorate in specialized fields such as chemical processes or chemical engineering, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in the field of adsorption/catalysis processes for gas purification.
• Strong analytical abilities, a penchant for innovation in the areas of energy transition and CO2 capture processes.
• Ability to challenge status quo.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, especially when dealing with high level management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset, capable of collaborative work and proactive engagement with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
