Technician/Installer (Solar)

Arch Solar, Inc. is seeking a full-time Technician/Installer (Solar) in Plymouth, WI. The role involves assisting with solar system installation, maintenance, and safety assessments. Candidates should have strong customer service skills and the ability to work in teams. Experience at heights is preferred. The position offers benefits including paid time off and a 401(k) plan. We are growing and looking for individuals to join our team in our Solar Technician/Solar Installer roles. The role of the Solar Technician is to assist the electrical team in providing consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely deliverables and products to our Residential customers. The Solar Installer will contribute to environmental stewardship and a work culture focused on health and safety. This role will work in conjunction with the Lead Technicians and Field Team Leads to develop accurate and efficient project assignments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in interpreting plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to engineering and construction from the jobsite
• Configure, install, inspect and maintain solar systems for customers
• Assess the environment to detect and mitigate any hazards that may be associated with installation
• Map out where projects and pieces go, placing components according to provided diagrams
• Seal the system against weather, using safety codes and manufacturer specifications
• Test the system and measure grounding systems while making adjustments to controls as needed
• Participate in the maintenance and operations of an electrical shop; clean and maintain service tools and equipment used in the performance of duties
• Prepare and clean up job sites

Experience and/or training:
• Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision, required
• Experience working at heights, preferred
• Strong customer service skills, required
• Ability to work in team environment, required

Licenses/Certificates:
• Valid Driver’s license with good driving record, required
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certified, preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
