Brief Description

Technical Water Rights Professional

Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid)

Compensation: $87,000 - $113,000 annually

LRE Water is seeking a Technical Water Rights Professional to lead and support complex water resource projects, managing budgets, client relationships, and technical deliverables. This role involves overseeing tasks like water court applications, hydrologic investigations, and stream depletion analyses. You’ll work with clients to solve critical problems and contribute to business development.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage water supply studies, project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
• Provide technical support for regulatory filings, expert testimony, and litigation.
• Foster client relationships to secure repeat business.
• Oversee staff and mentor junior team members for ongoing development.
• Contribute to proposal development and new business opportunities.

Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in water resources or environmental engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Strong experience with engineering software, Microsoft Suite, GIS, and ArcGIS.
• Knowledge of water rights decrees, water supply data, and hydrologic modeling.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
