Teaching Associate of Environmental Science

Coastal Carolina University is seeking a Teaching Associate in Environmental Science starting August 2025. Candidates should have an M.S. in Environmental or Marine Science and relevant experience, with a preference for those holding a Ph.D. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses and supporting experiential learning. The position is part-time and located in Conway, SC, with applications reviewed starting April 11, 2025.
The Department of Marine Science at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a Teaching Associate beginning in August 2025. Candidates must have an M.S. in Environmental or Marine science with at least 18 graduate credits of Environmental Science, Marine science, or closely related field. Candidates with 2 years of experience in Environmental or Marine science research or work experience beyond the M.S. and 1 related peer reviewed publication, and/or a Ph.D. in Environmental or Marine science with research experience and at least 1 related peer reviewed publication are preferred. The primary teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate Environmental science lectures and labs for science majors and/or Marine science lectures and labs for science majors. We seek a highly motivated individual who will support experiential learning activities in lecture, laboratory, and field settings.
