And much more...

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our small but vibrant Talent Acquisition team in based from Wallingford HQ. You'll help us with the recruitment of 700+ scientists and professional staff vacancies across all four of our UK sites, (from within the UK and internationally) helping us to attract the best talent possible.

You'll work closely with our hiring managers, guiding them through the entire recruitment process, initially gaining an understanding of their need in the team, translating that into an engaging advert, to coordinating interviews and making offers - finding the right candidates for the job!

This is a unique opportunity for someone who has little or no recruitment experience to join an established and supportive team and forge a new career. You'll have plenty of hands-on training and support from the team, but also enjoy autonomy from the start. If you have strong administration skills, love providing a high level of service to your stakeholders and enjoy some uncertainty and dynamism, this might be the ideal next step for you.

You'll be joining a leading independent, not-for-profit research institute that's committed to recruiting talented people like you, progressing your career and giving you the support you need to thrive at UKCEH.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Guiding hiring managers through the full recruitment lifecycle, from writing job adverts to coordinating interviews and making offers
• Engaging candidates and supporting them through the shortlisting and interview processes, including meeting and greeting when required
• Managing our Applicant Tracking System (Workday) on a daily basis
• Monitoring the recruitment inbox and responding to incoming enquiries
• Contributing to the improvement of our recruitment processes by sharing ideas and providing administrative support for new projects

For the role of Talent Acquisition Coordinator, we're looking for somebody who has:
• Proven experience in a demanding administrative or customer service role, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service to stakeholders.
• Is passionate about starting or developing a career in recruitment and HR
• Enjoys working in adynamic environment where no two days are the same
• Is a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and feels comfortable meeting with hiring managers both in person and over MS Teams
• Can manage a varied workload and regularly reprioritise to meet deadlines
• Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goals
• Has knowledge of an HR database or Applicant Tracking System (ATS), which would be highly beneficial but not essential
• Can interpret policies and procedures and handle personal information with confidentiality

You'll join our wider People team which is responsible for looking after our expanding team of 700+ passionate scientists and professionals. They handle everything from bringing in new talent to supporting them through their entire career, meeting personal needs and development goals, from the early days to retirement. So if you're forward-thinking and love a lively environment where fresh ideas are embraced, we want you on our team!

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.
