Sustainable Transport Planner

Carrington West is seeking a Sustainable Transport Planner in England, focusing on sustainable transport and active travel projects. Responsibilities include public realm improvements, stakeholder engagement, and drafting transport policies. The role offers flexible working arrangements and a pay rate of £30 - £32 per hour. Previous experience in Highways is essential. This is a full-time contract position.
An opportunity has arisen for a Transport Planner with experience in Sustainable Transport/Active Travel to join a client in London. Working on a number of sustainable transport and active travel projects, your main duties include delivering public realm and traffic improvements, stakeholder and public engagement, making streets and roads more people-friendly and drafting a range of transport planning policies and highway programmes.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer £30 - £32 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working / working from home arrangements are available.

Working within the Transport team your main duties include:
·Delivering a range of public realm and transport planning projects
·Assisting with the development of transport policies for future schemes
·Working on urban design, regeneration, highway and public spaces projects
·Writing reports, attending meetings and providing written responses to the public
