Job Description
Nestlé SA is seeking a Sustainable Sourcing Lead for Seafood in Kinloch, MO. This role involves supporting the Responsible Sourcing and Human Rights Strategy for global seafood supply, collaborating with teams and stakeholders, and managing seafood ingredient purchases. POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Sustainable Sourcing Lead at Nestlé Purina, you will play a vital role in supporting our Responsible Sourcing and Human Rights Strategy for our global seafood supply. You will collaborate with internal teams, key suppliers, and external stakeholders to monitor, track, and report advancements in traceability, fisheries health, human rights, compliance requirements, and other critical areas.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring and managing all fish and seafood ingredient purchases across Nestlé global procurement teams, reporting progress, providing guidance on company initiatives, and contributing to the development of the Sustainability Stakeholder Strategy.
This position will work onsite at Nestlé Purina headquarters in St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities:
• Support the annual delivery of the Nestlé Responsible Sourcing Commitment for the global seafood ingredient category.
• Implement and manage Nestlé's Responsible Sourcing and Human Rights Strategy for seafood.
• Report progress quarterly and annually for auditing review and company reporting on Environmental Sustainability Reporting Standards for Biodiversity and Ecosystems.
• Engage in internal and external communication opportunities to raise awareness of Nestlé Purina's sustainability actions and progress goals.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to provide guidance on other company initiatives related to seafood sustainability.
• Contribute to the development and management of the Sustainability Stakeholder Strategy by providing insights gained from external and stakeholder engagement.
• Serve as the contact for external stakeholders on topics related to Nestlé's standards and commitments for seafood.
• Assist with other Purina sustainability initiatives as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Sustainability, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of sustainability, strategic sourcing, agricultural supply chain, procurement analytics, or related experience.
Other:
• Must be willing to travel up to 20%.
• Experience working closely within the seafood sector or seafood supply chain.

The approximate pay range for this position is $106,000-$141,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
