Sustainable Packaging Solutions Specialist

As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for designing innovative and sustainable packaging solutions that meet our brand standards and values. This role requires a high degree of creativity, technical expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a packaging or graphic designer with a proven ability to create original and professional package designs. Strong skills in graphic design, including an excellent eye for typography, clean layout, purposeful color, and refined style are essential.

Responsibilities:
• Packaging Design**: Design and develop all printed packaging materials in accordance with our brand standards.
• Sustainability Initiatives**: Develop and implement sustainability initiatives in product packaging.
• Branding and Graphics**: Contribute to the design and application of branding and graphics on our products.
• Prototyping**: Create accurate packaging prototypes to support decision-making processes.
• Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of packaging projects.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a packaging or graphic designer with a proven ability to create original and professional package designs.
• Strong skills in graphic design, including an excellent eye for typography, clean layout, purposeful color, and refined style.
• Experience and understanding of packaging sustainability and material impacts on the environment.
• Understanding of construction methods, best practices, and shipping requirements.
• Creative package design thinking and passion, with an understanding of form and proportion and user interaction.
• Professional working knowledge of relevant design programs for print, environments, products, graphics, and digital.
• Understanding of the printing process and workflow.
• Ability to work in an open workspace environment and collaborate well with other designers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Comfortable working under pressure and deadlines, with a strong artistic/design sensibility.
• Familiarity with rock/ice climbing, freeride/backcountry skiing, mountain culture, and equipment is preferred.
