Sanimax is seeking a Sustainable Development Intern for summer 2025 in Quebec, Canada. This full-time internship (37.5 hours/week) involves managing citizen reports, monitoring air treatment equipment, and representing the company at community events. Applicants should be enrolled in a related bachelor's program, possess a driver's license, and communicate effectively in French. The position offers $20/hour for university students and $18.75/hour for college students.

Sanimax Charny is looking for a Sustainable Development Intern for an internship during the summer period of 2025! In order to continue improving and maintain a good relationship with the surrounding citizens, the Sustainable Development student will serve as a point of contact for citizens while also ensuring follow-up on the operations and equipment at the plant.
Conditions:
• Full-time internship (37.5 hours per week)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM (The schedule may vary slightly depending on certain community events.)
• $20.00/hour for university students
• $18.75/hour for college students
Responsibilities:
• Manage and document citizen reports and provide necessary explanations
• Follow up on the performance of air treatment equipment (biofilters, odor neutralizing systems, etc.)
• Work with the Environmental Supervisor on the continuous improvement of air treatment processes
• Follow up on various environmental management files
• Represent the company at various community activities
• Act as a liaison between the plant management, environmental team, and local citizens
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a bachelor's program in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, or a similar field
• Experience in the community sector (an asset)
• Class 5 driver's license
• Proficiency in French, both written and spoken; English is an asset
• Dynamism, tact, autonomy, organizational skills, and quick learning
• Strong communication skills, the ability to handle stress, and follow-up effectively
