Job Description

About the Role
We are seeking motivated interns or fresh graduates with a background in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines in the Built Environment to join our Sustainable Design team. The role provides exposure to sustainable design practices, building simulations, and green certification processes for high-performance buildings.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Team Leader in preparing and coordinating Green Building Certification submissions (e.g. Green Mark, LEED, WELL, etc.).
• Perform building performance simulations such as solar radiation, daylighting, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to assess and enhance environmental comfort and building efficiency.
• Conduct energy modelling to simulate, analyze, and predict a building’s energy consumption - optimizing efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and ensuring compliance with green building standards.
• Perform Whole Life Carbon Accounting assessments, quantifying and identifying opportunities to reduce a project’s total carbon emissions across its entire life cycle — from material extraction to end-of-life.
• Support project documentation, coordination, and reporting to ensure timely and accurate delivery of sustainability goals.

Job Requirements

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen interest in sustainable building design.
• Familiarity with software tools such as IES-VE, Rhino/Grasshopper, Revit, or CFD software will be advantageous.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
