About the position
The Sustainable Agriculture Partnerships Associate Manager at PepsiCo is responsible for managing strategic partnerships in the sustainable agriculture sector. This role focuses on enhancing collaboration with external stakeholders, facilitating learning programs, and implementing initiatives that promote sustainable agricultural practices. The position aims to align partnership activities with PepsiCo's sustainability goals while ensuring effective project management and reporting on the impact of these initiatives globally.
Responsibilities
• Managing and nurturing strategic partnerships with external stakeholders in the sustainable agriculture space.
,
• Facilitating internal and external learning programs on activating and managing partnerships for effective project management and optimal outcomes.
,
• Developing and implementing upskilling initiatives for external partners to enhance their capabilities in sustainable agriculture practices, nature, and livelihoods.
,
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align partnership activities with PepsiCo's broader sustainability goals.
,
• Collecting data from project owners/partners and reporting on the progress and impact of partnership initiatives at a global level.
,
• Maintaining a database of active and reviewed partners/initiatives, developing streamlined due diligence and onboarding processes for new partners.
,
• Drafting and maintaining project and partnership governance documents.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required
,
• 3+ years experience in corporate sustainability functions, agriculture and/or partnerships.
,
• Strong relationship and program management skills.
Nice-to-haves
• Competent strategy development and program evaluation
,
• 2+ years experience working directly on Food Systems globally strongly desired
,
• Knowledge of regenerative agriculture, agricultural supply chains, and livelihoods a plus
,
• Knowledge of development finance and grant writing a plus.
