We are looking for a skilled Environmental Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working at contaminated sites, managing complex field programs, and preparing reports for environmental characterization and remediation projects.
Main Responsibilities
• Performing remedial construction oversight and quality control to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Estimating remedial costs for feasibility studies and providing detailed breakdowns of expenses.
• Authoring feasibility studies and providing recommendations for environmental project development.
• Managing surface and subsurface soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and field data collection for environmental and water supply projects.
• Designing environmental projects, including drawings, specifications, calculations, and operation and maintenance plans.
• Conducting sustainability and resilience reviews or designs to ensure environmentally responsible practices.
• Reviewing assessments and calculations for federal, state, and local regulations to ensure compliance.
• Working on various assignments, including field studies, research investigations, construction oversight, data interpretation, and report preparation.
Requirements
• Field experience working at Superfund and other contaminated sites is essential.
• Experience with complex field programs and planning documents is required.
• Ability to evaluate remedial alternatives and design remedial approaches is necessary.
• Desire to advance career as project technical leader or project manager is beneficial.
