Sustainability Specialist

Rhode Island Energy seeks a Sustainability Specialist in Providence, RI. The role involves managing relationships with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring effective communication and project management for energy efficiency programs. Responsibilities include monitoring vendor work quality and adherence to standards. This is a full-time position with no degree required.
Responsibilities

As a Sustainability Specialist, you will:
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring effective relationships with internal deal teams and external vendors.
• Take personal responsibility to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal deal teams as well as external vendors, to facilitate prompt communications, successful project management, and the overall efficient delivery of EE programs to customers.
• Manage the day-to-day relationship with external vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure adherence to standards and best cost-effective outcomes for Rhode Island Energy and customers.
• Monitor the quality of vendor work and check to ensure procedures are followed, to ensure that the technical input being provided is accurate and adds value.
