The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing effective sustainability programs that balance environmental, social, and economic goals. This position requires strong collaboration and communication skills, as well as the ability to think creatively and solve complex problems. If you are a motivated self-starter with a passion for sustainability, we want to hear from you!Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g. environmental science, sustainability, or social responsibility) - 3-5 years of experience in a sustainability role - Demonstrated success in developing and launching sustainability initiatives - Knowledge of sustainability principles, including environmental, social, and economic factors - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor sustainability programs and initiatives that balance environmental, social, and economic goals.
Work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to ensure sustainability initiatives are integrated into overall organizational strategies.
Research current and emerging sustainability trends to ensure programs and initiatives are up-to-date and relevant.
Monitor and evaluate the success of sustainability initiatives.
Prepare and present reports on the progress of sustainability initiatives.
Develop, maintain, and update policies, procedures, and processes related to sustainability.
Collaborate with external partners to improve sustainability performance.
Train and educate staff on sustainability initiatives and their importance.
Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and standards.
Stay abreast of legislation related to sustainability.
