We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Sustainability Specialist to join our growing Sustainability team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our US manufacturing facilities in achieving their environmental and sustainability goals. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability programs, conducting environmental data analysis, and preparing reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement. This role has the opportunity to work with our global sustainability team.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability programs and initiatives across US manufacturing facilities, focusing on areas such as energy conservation, waste reduction, and water efficiency.
• Conduct environmental data collection, analysis, and reporting, including tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and waste generation.
• Support the completion of Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for products and processes, identifying environmental hotspots and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify and address environmental risks and non-conformances.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and procurement, to integrate sustainability considerations into business decisions.
• Prepare presentations and reports to communicate sustainability performance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of the latest sustainability trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, or a related field (preferred, but not required).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data analysis and interpretation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with environmental software and databases (e.g., EHS software, sustainability reporting platforms) is a plus.
• Strong interest in environmental sustainability and a desire to contribute to a more sustainable future.
• Willing to travel at least 5-10% for business purpose.

• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve and develop resolutions in a timely manner.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Independently determines method of completion for new projects.
